Using my research notes within my work.

As I began researching the topic of the body and the skin as a surface i began taking notes of artists whohave both worked onto the skin and who have used their own bodies within their own work. I began to think about how i could incorporate text and the body to create imagery which everyone can relate to. I began by selecting quotes from my work which I found gave the viewer a further understanding of the meaning of my work.
While the pattern drawinf has been removed I still think that the same message is being portrayed. I wanted to develop the idea further and look at other ways in which to express my ideas.

 

Usiing these quootations and notes I decided to see what they would look like drawn onto the skin.

These images are taken from my sketchbook and allowed me to visualise the notes on my own skin and how the photos might look as finished pieces.
