Large scale piece!

This week i have been working on a large scale piece! I have created the scene of a crowd by placing pictures of people walking in a line so that they overlap on top of each other, creating hustle and bustle! For my large scale piece I am working with large white card and acrylic paint! It is going to take longer than I thought to finish but hopefully a sense of movement within the urban enviornment will be created through the piece once its completed!

This website really helped me understand how to properly take pictures of people while still in movement within the urban enviornment. It is known as Candid Street Photography. The subject in question (i.e the people within the urban enviornment) are un aware their photo is being taken. This provides a completely natural un-posed picture which captures the movement of people as they go about their everyday business!

Hey everyone i think ive finally got the hang of this blog thing! Hopefully anyway! :) Ive alot to catch up on so in the next few days i will upload some old pieces i have done since we first got the project brief.

At the moment im working on the movement of people within the urban enviornment. Im mainly focusing on their shapes as they move throughout the streets! Since my progress review i have been mainly looking at the movement of peoples legs and feet and the shapes and patterns that they create! I will take some photos over the next few days and try get them up on this thing as soon as i can!!
